Afterwards, you will visit a local Bahamian chocolate factory. Located on the grounds of the world famous Graycliff Hotel, the Graycliff Chocolate Factory will allow you to discover how their products are made with the unique Bahamian touch. Next stop is the National Heritage Museum, the perfect place to learn about the past and the drastic changes the island has undergone over time - learn about the history of the Bahamas since Columbus first landed in 1492!
The last stop of the tour is the John Watlings Distillery, a historic complex with some places that tell the history of the place. The distillery is located on the site of an old plantation, in which there is also an old mansion, and a traditional restaurant “Buena Vista”, you can take a tour and learn about the most representative moments of this paradise in the Caribbean. You will also see many objects from the old plantation and the restaurant. Then, you will learn about the production of an exclusive Bahamian rum. See how rum bottles are hand-filled from barrels. To end your day you can enjoy a rum cocktail (at an additional cost).
