Visit to the Panama Canal (6 hours)

Your day will begin with a pickup from your hotel in Panama City at 7:30 am, followed by a leisurely walk through the colonial district of the city. This vibrant area of the Panamanian capital features highlights such as the grand Plaza de la Independencia. As we explore this square, you will have the chance to marvel at the impressive facade of the Metropolitan Cathedral while discussing its rich history.

The historic center of Panama City, recognized as a World Heritage Site, is home to a variety of architectural gems that we will uncover during our visit. Highlights include La Merced Church, Plaza Carlos V, Plaza de Francia, Plaza Santa Ana, and the Anita Villalaz Theatre, along with numerous historic and significant buildings that make this area truly captivating!

Following our city exploration, we will proceed to the iconic Panama Canal, where we’ll observe the Miraflores Locks. This location offers an excellent vantage point to witness ships navigating through the narrow channel that links the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.

Our private excursion will conclude as we return to your hotel, with an expected arrival time of 1:30 pm.

Visit to Isla Monos in Gatun Lake (3 hours)

You will be picked up at 7:30 am from your hotel in Panama City and transported to the port of Gamboa.

Here, we will board a boat that will navigate to Gatun Lake, where the charming Isla Monos awaits. On this journey, we will circle around the island, known as Monkey Island, to observe and listen to various species of capuchin monkeys, marmosets, and howler monkeys from the comfort of our boat.

Finally, we will return to the port of Gamboa and then escort you back to your hotel in Panama City, with an arrival time of approximately 10:30 am.

Visit to the Emberá Indigenous communities (6 hours)

This adventure begins with a pickup at 8 am from your hotel in Panama City, leading us to the port of Corotú. Here, we will embark on a canoe journey along the Chagres River, taking us directly to the Emberá Indigenous communities.

This experience will immerse you in the traditions and customs of these Indigenous Peoples, followed by a delightful meal featuring tilapia, patacones, and local fruits shared with community members. After our meal, we will witness a captivating demonstration of traditional dances before returning by boat to the port of Corotú.

From this river port, we will bring you back to your hotel in Panama City, with an estimated arrival of 2 pm.
