Day Trip to Contadora Island
At the designated time, our team will collect you from your accommodation in Panama City for a transfer to the port. Here, we will embark on a ferry for an exhilarating journey through the Pearl Islands archipelago, heading towards Contadora Island, which will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
As we cruise, you will discover the fascinating history of how the Spanish counted pearls in this area before exporting them to Spain during colonial times, providing insight into the island's name. Keep your eyes peeled, particularly between October and June, as it is common to observe humpback whales in these waters.
Upon arrival at the island, we will make our way to Cacique Beach, where you'll find access to a hotel offering a delightful selection of local cuisine. Enjoy a scrumptious lunch featuring chicken, rice, fresh salads, and various vegetables as part of your experience.
While on the island, you will have the freedom to unwind at your own pace. Feel free to explore other nearby picturesque beaches and relax on the pristine white sands.
Afterwards, we will return to the boat for our journey back to Panama City. The day trip will conclude when we escort you back to your hotel, expected between 5 and 5:30 pm.
