Aldana Excursion + Guanga Workshop

We'll pick you up at the time of your choice at Parque Santander in Ipiales, where we'll set off on a route through the Colombian department of Nariño.

In just 30 minutes, we'll arrive at the small town of Aldana, where we'll go on a brief guided tour. Then, we'll make our way to a handicraft workshop where local women will teach us the main techniques of guanga weaving.

Using sheep's wool, a resistant raw material, we'll learn how to make knots, scarves, bags, hats, gloves, and other textile products typical of the Nariño Andes.

You'll be able to take home the handmade garments that you have made, a souvenir to last a lifetime!

At the end of the guanga weaving workshop in Aldana, we'll return to the meeting point in Ipiales, where we'll arrive four hours after departure.
