Republic of Panama

About this activity

Travel down a river through a lush jungle to an indigenous village on this journey through Chagres National Park. Cruise down a river on a ‘piragua’, a traditional canoe as you make your way to the Embera village. Visit a beautiful waterfall and take a cool dip in the pool at its base before continuing downriver to the village. Once you arrive, you’ll have the chance hear about local culture, customs and traditions before enjoying a meal. This tour has been certified by Travelife as part of a larger effort to curb its environmental impact, reduce energy consumption, properly dispose of waste, lower vehicle emissions, and protect local flora and fauna.
