About this activity

What to do

Rio Secreto invites you on an incredible journey through Xibalba, the Mayan underworld. Upon arrival, friendly guides will provide all the safety instructions and equipment to make this a safe and fun day.

Then, you will walk through the tropical vegetation and arrive at the cave entrance to begin the traditional journey through Rio Secreto, the largest flooded cavern in the Yucatan Peninsula. Walk along underground trails and swim in crystal-clear waters while admiring the fantastic natural crystal galleries, more than half a mile long, on a 90-minute expedition.
