What to do
Patzcuaro One Day begins with a scenic bus tour, in which you will enjoy the beautiful mountain and lush vegetation sceneries of the countryside of Michoacan on your way to three magical towns. It's a long road so order a snack for this adventure before you leave!
Your first stop will be at Santa Clara del Cobre, a quaint town famous for its handicrafts made of the material its name refers to "Cobre" (copper). Once there, besides walking among its 16th-century-old streets, you will also visit the Copper Museum to witness the traditional craft process. Afterward, you will visit the archaeological site of Tzintzuntzan, located on the northeastern shore of Lake Patzcuaro, an ancient city of the Purepecha culture.
At the beautiful Patzcuaro colonial city, you will have time to visit the famous square Vasco de Quiroga, a lively plaza surrounded by colonial-style houses, and "Nuestra Señora de la Salud" church. Finally, you will return to your hotel.
