Whale Watching

Ixtapa, Guerrero, Mexico

About this activity

What to do

Every November, thousands of whales begin their long journey from Alaska to the Mexican Pacific coast, and the coast of Zihuatanejo is one of the privileged places that welcomes them every year.

Join this eco-tour aboard a boat that takes you on a whale-watching adventure. You will search for these enormous creatures along with a bilingual marine biologist who will be your guide and provide you with exhaustive information about them. During the trip, you will be able to hear their song through a hydrophone that comes equipped on the boat.

During the trip, you can enjoy snacks and drinks, plus there is a stop for you to cool off in the Pacific waters, so get your swimsuit ready!
