Columbia River & Multnomah Falls Tour

Once we've met on Main Street at the scheduled time, we'll leave Portland and venture into the State of Oregon's forests.

The Lewis and Clark Expedition set off from St. Louis and traveled west across the country to the Pacific coast. During their journey, they canoed down the Columbia River and discovered the scenery along its banks. Rooster Rock, Cape Horn, and Mist Falls are some of the locations on their route, which we will also see on our tour.

We will follow the path of these explorers, who undertook their expedition 200 years ago, and marvel at the nature of the Columbia River. Our route will take us past Multnomah Falls, a waterfall that towers at a height of 541 feet (165 metres).

After a break at Multnomah Falls, our tour will continue to the Bonneville Dam and Fish Hatchery. We will then pass by Beacon Rock, a prominent monolith.

On our way back to Portland, we will take the Historic Columbia River Highway and admire the views. We will pass by the old Crown Point Observatory and the basalt formations of Shepper's Dell before returning 2 hours after our departure.
