The deeper seas around Cuba brim with fish, making the island something of a game fishing mecca. So whether you’re an experienced angler or beginner, coming here is an excellent opportunity to try your hand at the sport.
Charter a modern sports-fishing boat, and your crew will steer a course to some of the best local fishing grounds. Once you’re there, they’ll show you what to do and provide the equipment and bait to get you started.
And from there, it’s just a matter of sitting back and soaking up the sunshine as you angle for whoppers like wahoo, kingfish, and swordfish.
There are smaller species like snapper and mackerel to chase, too. And if you just want to go along and watch, that’s fine as well. Great for anglers and non-anglers alike!
