What to do
Your first stop will be the Sugar Cane Mill Museum, where you will learn about the tools and techniques used in this process. You will try fresh "guarapo," a juice made from sugar cane. Afterward, you will tour the city of Cárdenas and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Varadero. After that, you will visit the Óscar María de Rojas Museum, the second oldest in Cuba, home to artifacts that tell the island's history. Lastly, you will see a cigar bar and try the different pairings of tobacco and rum. Take a bottle of Mulata Cuban rum as a souvenir, courtesy of Nexus Tours!
