On this tour through the villages of Boyaca, we'll combine nature and history while exploring the main interior region of Colombia.
Visit Inland Colombia
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Tunja to start the tour through the inland region of Boyaca. The tour features picturesque villages.
Our first stop will be Chivata to visit the Nuestra Señora del Rosario Parish, a National Heritage Site of Colombia. We will then proceed to Toca, where we can see the twin temples of the Divino Salvador Parish in the main square.
Continuing our journey, we will arrive at Paipa and the Vargas reservoir, followed by a visit to Duitama, where we will explore Pueblito Boyacense, known for its traditional architecture.
In Duitama, we'll enjoy a traditional Boyaca meal featuring an appetizer, a choice of meat or fish for the main course, and a beverage. After the meal, we will visit the colonial town of Tibasosa, known for its colonial-style architecture.
Our final stop will be Nobsa, recognized for its artisanal handicrafts made from sheep's wool. After exploring the artisanal offerings, we will return to your hotel in Tunja approximately 10 hours after pickup.
