During the booking process, you can choose between the following day trip options to Turbaco:
Day Trip to Turbaco + Mud Pools
We will meet next to Cartagena's Clock Tower and travel by minibus to Turbaco, approximately an hour away. A tour of the historical center follows, showcasing local culture and the Yurbaco Museum, detailing the town's 16th-century history. You will have 2 hours to enjoy the mud pools, known for their restorative properties. The experience concludes with a traditional lunch. After 8 hours, we will return to Cartagena.
Day Trip to Turbaco + Botanical Garden
Meet at the Clock Tower in Cartagena to depart for Turbaco. Upon arrival, a 2-hour tour includes main streets, churches, and the Yurbaco Museum. Next, we visit the Guillermo Piñeres Botanical Garden, where we will explore plant life native to the Colombian Caribbean for about 2 hours. The day concludes with a typical lunch at a local restaurant.
Day Trip to Turbaco + Paintball
After meeting at the Clock Tower, we head to Turbaco. We will visit the historical center and museum before heading to a paintball field for a 2-hour game. Following this, we will enjoy a regional lunch before returning to Cartagena after 8 hours.
Day Trip to Turbaco + Bollo de Mazorca Workshop
Meeting at the Clock Tower, we will explore the historical center for one hour and visit the Turbaco Museum. Next, we will travel to the estate La Maquinaria for a workshop on making bollo de mazorca, a corn-based dish. The day concludes with a typical lunch, followed by a return to the initial meeting point after 8 hours.
