Tour Details
Day 1
After meeting at the boardwalk of Leticia, we will board a boat to Puerto Nariño and cruise for 2 hours down the Amazon River. In Puerto Nariño, we will explore the village and discuss the Ticuna, Cocama and Yagua tribes. In the evening, we will embark on a nocturnal expedition through the jungles to discover exotic insects and amphibians before returning to the hotel.
Day 2
We'll begin with breakfast and a visit to Maloka Tikuna to learn about local customs and participate in a workshop with games and natural paints. After lunch, we will enjoy a boat trip on the Loretoyacu River to discuss local wildlife and watch the sunset before dinner and returning to the hotel.
Day 3
We will start with views of the Lake Tarapoto wetlands. After breakfast, we will return to Puerto Nariño and cross the jungle on a trail of wooden bridges. After a 3-hour journey, we will arrive at San Martin de Amacayacu for lunch and a community visit before spending the night there.
Day 4
After breakfast, we will canoe through Amacayacu National Park to Mocagua, where we will learn about local traditions. After lunch, we will visit a monkey sanctuary to interact with rescued primates. We will return to the hotel in Puerto Nariño for the night.
Day 5
The final day involves returning to Leticia. After breakfast in Mocagua, we will depart at 7 am for a 90-minute journey back to the initial meeting point.
