The Black River is no ordinary waterway, it is home to crocodiles, mangroves and plenty of exotic birds, a true ecological haven in one of Jamaica’s longest rivers. On this trip, make your way through forested mountain roads until you reach this stunning place. Climb aboard a pontoon boat and sail down its course while your guide shares all kinds of interesting information about the wildlife that inhabits its banks and depts.
Keep your camera at hand as you glide past huge mangroves that hide enourmous crocodiles. Observe them peeking from under the water, your guide may throw food at them from the boat, so you’ll get great photo opportunities.
But this trip is not just about cruising, either; you will also pay a visit to the popular YS Falls located within the lush Jamaican jungle. Here, you will have the chance to climb the waterfalls, swing off a rope, or simply unwind and float around in the natural pools. A perfect experience for all nature lovers out there.
